The GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus is an upgraded version of the NucBox K8. While it features the same powerful AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS “Hawk Point” processor, it boasts a sleek new design that enhances its overall appeal. GMKtec K8 Plus also comes equipped with additional interfaces, including two USB4 ports and an Oculink port. Plus, it supports an impressive 96GB of RAM and up to 8TB of SSD storage, making it capable of handling up to 8K@60Hz quad display output.
The entire Mini PC is in a black design, and the top transparent cover reveals a large fan inside. It is part of the upgraded GMKtec’s cooling system called Hyper Ice Chamber 2.0.
In terms of connectivity, the NucBox K8 Plus offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual 2.5GbE LAN. Additionally, with two USB4.0 ports, HDMI 2.1, and Display Port 2.1, it can support up to four displays at resolutions of 8K@60Hz.
